Muriwai Arts is getting ready for another amazing show in 2019. Building on our previous success we will once again stage a major art event incorporating the work of over 50 local artists, with open studios and a comprehensive group exhibition at the Muriwai Surf Lifesaving Club and Community Hub. Among our many contributors are numerous well-known, internationally renowned artists who’ll be submitting all-original works across a variety of media (photography, painting, ceramics, carving, jewellery, sculpture, weaving and more). All works will be for sale and entry is by gold coin donation. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to see some sensational new art, Auckland’s west coast at its best, and these talented locals in their element, at the Muriwai Arts Trail 2019.
During the weekend selected artists will also open their home studios to the public, giving visitors the opportunity to view workspaces, hear about the inspiration behind the creations and discover techniques.
ENTRY is free (gold coin donation appreciated). Works will be FOR SALE, full payment on the day, and pick up of artwork between 4–6pm on the Sunday. PAYMENT by cash, EFTPOS or credit card (Visa and Mastercard only).

Mt Albert Grammar Fine Arts Show

Mount Albert Grammar School’s Fine Art Show is an annual highlight on the school’s event calendar. The inaugural show in 2014 was so successful, with over 400 pieces of work by 200 artists on show and rose $47,000 for the MAGS Foundation...
"This exhibition is a valuable opportunity for both established and emerging New Zealand artists to exhibit their work. Join us to see the hall transformed into a vibrant gallery of oils and acrylics, watercolours and photography.
The event is run by Friends of MAGS and all proceeds go to the Mount Albert Grammar Foundation. We have attracted more than 400 works from over 100 professional New Zealand artists, which will be on sale at the School over the weekend of 21 -23 August. All proceeds go to the Mount Albert Grammar School Foundation – “Investing in the future of the School”
